Hey guys and guess what? Its more bad news...

Yesterday my friend :iconwhaletrainer2002: called to inform me of the status of my laptop. Will its fried, toast, done... As near as he can tell its something wrong with the mother board. He aslo said I'd be better off just getting a brand new laptop. This really sucks, my mom has blamed me for all her computer problems and has forbiden me to even TOUCH her new computer. (which is having issues not caused by me) So once AGAIN my only internet access it the library which is an hour drive from home. There's still no work that I can find or even qualified for.

So all the Trainz shtuff is called off for the time being as anything and every thing has been lost. As if I haven't gone through enough crap already. I could really use a winning lotto ticket or something right now. Something just to get me started! I'm tired of my mom CONSTANTLY bitching, moaning, and complaining about I'm "Taking up her space" or how I should be out on my own.

The truth being if she hadn't F$#%ed up my life prior to moving here I WOULD be out on my own, I was doing fine. Unitl she made me feel guilty and she used me as a second income. She says I owe her money, the only thing I owe her is for paying for the moped repairs and nothing else. She expects me to magicaly go out one day and come home with a job. She's F*$&^ing delusional.

I'm sorry for ranting but I've been trying to get help wiht the aspergers stuff but people are completely incompetant of doing their jobs and I'm getting the Government 2-step with it too! I'm trying to see someone for depression but no, I have to prove that I have no income in order to see someone with out paying the full fee of 30 or 50 dollars. I feel like I'm stuck here and I'll never move any farther than this; and I don't want to believe that!

GEEZE even Holloween sucked! We only had ONE family stop by for Trick or Treating! LAME!!!

Oh Crud....

No worries, nothing horribly bad. But there are a couple of things that aren't going the way I would like, number one being my life. ^^;

But first off, I'm sorry to inform you that my Holloween story for this year "The Midnight Special" will not be finished in time for Holloween. This is because of a seveere lack of computer access in order to write it. I'll be posting Chapter 7 shortly after posting this. So I'm sorry about that but I do intend on finishing it. It will just take alot longer since I'm only able to access a computer about once a week. :faint:

In other news, I have finished the side view of my 30in Gauge Winans Style Camelback locomotive. I also plan on making different versions of it with different Stack and Headlight styles. Also I've started thingking of names for the locomotives. So far I've listed the names "Willian" and "Glenbrook". I'm open to suggestions. I've aslo worked on some front and rear veiws but have made some irreversable mistakes and may have to start from scratch, almost. First was when I was working on the Front veiw, I forgot to draw the smoke stack before inking the Roof lines. This isn't all that bad though, this makes it easier to see the front cab windows wich is easier to do when you don't have a big diamond stack in the way. lol! But when I worked on the Rear veiw I messed up on the cab hieght. Yeah, bashed my head against the wall a few times on that one. *sigh*

But last night I was able to draw the tender for the loco and MAN IS IT BIG!!! Atleast for a narrow gauge tender. Its a good 8 or so feet from the railhead. But seeing as the Winans Camel is a freight loco it would need plenty of fuel and water. I wish I could scan what I have so far, I'm sure you'd like it! :D

But now to ask for a little input from you guys who may download the Trainz model of it. The pistons are very wide on the frame for a 30in loco. Originaly I intended on keeping her a inside frame locomotive, but given my designs she may be more suited for an outside frame. What would you prefer? Also it will be available with either a Box Headlight or and Arch style oil lamp, similar to that on the Bachmann On30 porter. Also, would you like a "Cowcatcher" or a Switching style pilot? I'm asking because I do want to make multiple versions of this unique locomotive. I'll see if I can make a concept, non scale, drawing of my locomotive so you can better visualize it.

Well that's all for now, Catch Ya' Later! :D

Hey All! Oh, and I needz a Favor. *Please Read*

Hey guys!

Yeah, I still don't have my laptop back and I haven heard from my friend either. So I'm still using the library's computer to anything online. It also really stinks not having a computer period! At least I would still be able to write stories and what not! ^^;

But I have been keeping myself busy, persay. I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with the GMAX modeling program but from what I've seen you can use images as a scale reference or even actual plans/blue prints for an object like a train or locomotive. Well seeing that I will eventualy be building content for trainz I started working on a design for a freelance locomotive. Are you guys familiar with the "Winans Camel", they were EARLY 0-8-0 Camelback locomotives durring the 1840's and 50's if I recall correctly. You may have seen adds for O scale brass models of them in resent issues of RMC. (Railroad Model Craftsman)

Well these locomotives hold a special place in my heart because they were my first "Favorite" locomotive. They are vey unique looking and functioning locomotives. And I'm a sucker for a "Different" Locomotives! ;p Well I've started working on plans for a 30in gauge Freelanced "Winans" style 0-8-0 Camelback locomotive. It will be somewhat modernized, menaing it will have an air pump and tanks. My first attempt failed because I mad the ting too small. Mainly the dimentions of the cab were the issue. In a sitting position you would be ok, but getting INTO the cab woul mean hunching over and nearly crawling to get to the engineer's seat. Or you would have to bend you back t a 90 degree angle. ^^; Niether of which is good. So I set out to re-redesign the locomotive and it much better. Upon entering the cab you'll still have to duck a bit and at minimal hight the cab is 5 feet high. But I think that that's a minor inconveinience. Currently I'm still working on the front view and will later work on a side view.

I was going to work on the cab interior but I'm kinda stuck. ^^; Until I had an idea but I'll need your help to do it. If you guys have Trainz 06 and you have downloaded the Locomotive "Yonah" I would REALLY like some good, CLEAR, and Clean detail shots of its cab. I know Sampug has the loco, but if anyone else has it I'd be REALLY Much Obliged if you could get me those references. It would help me out alot. Oh! And don't forget Multiple angles! I'd like to see as much of the backhead as possible! Again, I'd REALLY apreciate it! :D

Well I guess that's all for the time being. So, I'll catch Ya' later! :wave: :D

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't been online as of late. ^^;

the reason being is that my laptop now has ome issues. Almost a week ago I got some weird Trojian Virus or something like it. Well I dissconected from the internet and ran a thourough scan. It didn't pick up anything but I then decided, hoping it would help, to do a system restore. I did and it seemed to work fine afterwards! Well the next day I go to start it up and Windows Failed to boot. It gave me other otions to try and every one still failed. To say I was ticke would be a VAST understatement. Well I told my friend :iconwhaletrainer2002: about it and I also gave him my laptop for him to look at. I have yet to hear from him and will probably call him later to see if he's looked at it yet. (last weekend was very busy for him)

Anyway, so yeah. Again my only option to go online is the library, which I'm at while I'm typing this. Also I am now the grand old age of 22. :iconwhaletrainer2002: took me to see "Where the Wild Things Are" and I have to say... the movie was depressing. I did have alot of funny parts but there was more sad stuff than happy stuff. It was depressing... (sigh) The Soundtrack I though was good though. ^^;

But yeah, we still had a good time. We all wore our tails that night wich was fitting for the movie. On saturday my Mom took me out to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", which was AMAZING!!! :excited: Absolutely EXCELENT Movie and worth going to see again in my opinion! :D And it had MR. T!!! :eager: And he had an inverted Mowhawk! ^^; But still, it was a very good movie and even my Mom was impressed! Also she got me a $50 gift card for the movie theater so I can go watch new Movies coming out soon when I want and I'll be able to go with my friend when they want to! Also we had a Sushi Dinner which was AMAZING!!! I'm such a sucker for sushi, I really am. ^^; We tried this one roll called a "Volcano Roll" which was REALLY GOOD! I don't quite remember what was in it though. I think it was Salmon with something, then quickly fried with a Mayo/crab sauce on the top. It was tasty! (Nom, Nom, Nom...) :D

We also got an order of Seaweed salad, which is ALWAYS good! (Don't knock it until you try it! ;p ) We also got my favorite, the "Philidelphia Roll" which was ALL MINE!!! :mwahaha: AAAAAAND, I got to try some "Sparkleing Sake" (I hope I spelled that right. ^^;) It was alot like champagne but the flavor was a little different. It was really good and I'd like to know where I can get it.

It was a pretty good birthday weekend, it was deffinently more than I expected this year. Even though a few things were kinda ok, overall it was good. I also picked up, thanks to my Mom, the October issue of RMC. (Railroad Model Craftsman) I'm not sure if you've seen it Railwolf but its Right Up Your Alley!

The main article is about a Civil War era model Railroad of the Western & Atlantic RR! there is also a special inset on Modleing the 19th century and also has a bunch of references on companies who produce products suitable and accurate for 19th century modeling! I picked up the last issue at they had in stock at Barnes & Noble. Unfortunealy the cover is all bent, folded, and messed up. But there isn't another book store that carries RMC so I got what was available. The dammage is more superficial than anything.

Also I'll be posting the next 2 chapters for "The Midnight Special" so don't think I havent stopped working on it! :D

Well, that's all for now. Hopefully I can get my laptop back soon so I can get online more often. But for now, I'll Catch Ya' Later!!! :wave:

Yep, its October again and its 5 more days till my birthday! (YAYS) Not really sure if anything will go on then, my expectations aren't very high. ^^;

Come the 16th I'll be 22. And its almost depressing, I'm 22 and still living with my Mom. It feels really lame. But not much can be done about it. (sigh) But I do have a few things to keep me occupied, as some of you may have noticed I took a break and started a new story called "The Midnight Special". Our favorite Railroading Wolf Aleu is off on another adventure, only this time her very SOUL could be at stake! Its a Scary themed work for Holloween this year and I wanted an early start. Lots of Zombie and Vampire action in this one so if your a bit squeemish I don't recomend reading it. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! :D

Well that's about all for now, Catch 'Ya Later! :wave:
