Description

Alright, and here comes Wolf Creek & Flagstone #4!

Different from the first three engines, she's the first to have 6 coupled drivers! She's a custom locomotive built by H.K. Porter Company of Pittsburg PA, USA. (as stated on her builders plate) Another first is that she is the W.C.&.F. first Tender locomotive! She has a simple 2 axle tender built up from a single pasenger truck.

This will be my first major kitbashing project. The insparation for this loco came from an article online where someone built this loco using a Bachmann HO 0-6-0 Saddle Tank Switcher and a MDC 0-6-0 Tank Switcher kit. The main boiler and I assume the saddle tank came from the MDC kit. The chassis is from the Bachmann 0-6-0 and the cab is from a Bachmann On30 Porter. The domes and possibly the bell are S scale products which can work VERY well in On30.

As for her tender I've seen some 2 axle tender kits available but I think I'll sratch build mine. As a chassis I'll use a spare Bachmann Passenger Truck, I'll build a deck out of Styrien Plastic and also the rest of the tender as well. Since this is a Tender loco it gives me a little more whiggle room for adding DCC and sound. I may be too optimistic but maybe I can even add smoke! :D
Also, all of the locomotives (Engines 1 through 4) will have complete cab interiors from Grandt Line. I'll eventually post a pick of her tender as well.

P.S. Is this engine not full of WIN!!?! ;p
