FWRR 2-4-2

Well here's another charming locomotive that I will kitbash for my rendition of the "Big Thunder Mt. Railroad" in On30 scale.
And interestingly enough the prototype IS 30 inch gauge!
Anywho, for those curious about the prototype, this locomotive is of the fromer "Fort Wilderness Railroad" that used to exist at one of the camping resorts in Florida. The "Fort Wilderness" family campground. It had a 2 and a half mile long railroad for the families to have fun and these unique 2-4-2 locos hauled them. After some turn of events the campground was closed and the tracks ripped up and only one of the locos is still around somewhere in dier need of at loeast asthetic restoration.

I don't know if the survivour will ever run again but it will be imortalized on my On30 model railroad project. This is a basic drawing and I made one slight change compared to the prototype. That change is the air tank under the fuel bunker. On the real locomotive, believe it or not, it was a square tank! Well I figure that a round on looks better even if you only see the ends.
Not sure where to but the air pump so I'm open to suggestions.

Also please take note! It's not exactly easy to tell but the saddle tank is NOT round! Nope, it is SQUARE!!! Or rather rectangular in shape. It's a really interesting and unique design and that's one of the reasons I chose to model this locomotive. A color version in my BTMt. RR livery is in the works so be pacient.
