Description

I've seen a few people take pictures like this, and I thought I'd give it a go. Although these aren't ALL my locomotives, nor all my steam engines these are mostly what I want to use for my Empire River & Western RR.

Starting from left and moving to the right are as follows:
Rivarossi PRR 2-8-8-2
Rivarossi B&O 2-10-2 (Now 2-10-4)
N&W 4-8-4 J class (Bowser chassis and Bahcmann shells, inoperable)
IHC 4-6-2 (Roadname unknown)
Bachmann 2-8-0
Bachmann 2-8-0
Mantua 4-4-2
Tyco 4-8-0
Tyco 4-6-0
Athern/Roundhouse 2-8-0 (w/ temporary Congdon stack)
Athern/Roundhouse 2-8-0 (backdate kitbash)
IHC old time 4-4-0 (stack scavanged)
IHC old time 4-4-0 "Inyo"
AHM 0-4-0
AHM 2-4-0 "J.W. Bowker"

And now for the engines towards the back, also from left to right:
AHM/Rivarossi 2-Truck Heisler
Bachmann 2-Truck Climax
0-6-0T (make presently unavailable)
AHM 0-6-0T

I still have a handful of other motive power, such as Civil War era 4-4-0s and other engines, including some non-steam motive power. :gasp:

Though after setting up the photos I was enlightened about a humorous irony. I pride myself on being a narrow gauger and wanting to focus my modeling attempts in O scale narrow gauge. More specifically On30 and On20. However, over the past few years, I've invested and acquired more HO standard gauge stuff than anything else! Well at least I don't have to worry about having a shortage of usable equipment to run at the next club I come across.

As for the "Table", it's actually a module I constructed, one of two actually, to experiment with my layout construction skills... which still could use some work. I'm also hoping to experiment with desert scenery a bit to. Just not sure exactly what to do with them quite yet. I've thought about doing a dual gauge setup with On30 and On20, or going exclusively On20 for the modules. Which once I get one of my On20 locos running I'll have a place to run them a bit.

Anyway, that's it for this post. I hope you like it and please comment if you fave.
