Description
Well after drawing a number of Darkwatch weapons from the game I figured I'd start comming up with a few of my own.
This is the result of my madness, may I present the Darkwatch's hand-held "Raptor" Gatling gun!!
This thing is HUGE!!! And heavy too! That's why the only Regulators using this thing are the Demomen. They're about hte only ones strong enought to hold the thing.
Anyway, it's still in the "Experimental" stages so one Raptor may have some different features compared to another. But what they do have in common are as follows: each one can fire at least 960 rounds of ammunition a minute. Each Raptor fires 69 caliber ammunition. They are all electrically driven via a battery which is carried by the user on his or her back. Ammunition is chain fed and comes from large drum magazine also on the "Back-Pack". Action from the electric motor is transmited to the mechanism(s) via planetary gear reduction.
They main variences with the Raptors are in the type of ammunition used. Some are meant to be armor peircing, others are super-sonic, and some round will just tear you to shreds. (imagine a 69 caliber hollow point!) :evil:
Well, the DW will do anything to defeat the forces of darkness, even if it means creating a weapon that is "overkill" by their standards!
