Ok, now that my mom is garunteed to be gon for at least 24 hours, I shall secretly use her desktop (since she took the laptop and internet thingy) with her.
Personally, I hate how this turned out color wise. Its not "Bad" but I don't think it's good either. This is as close as I could get to the prototype scheme with a photo refference. The green they used was darker and had more "Blue" mixed into the shade. But this is as close as I could get with the colors I have.
The red is nearly spot on so I am happy about that. The tender was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! I tried to draw in and color the road name, "Big Thunder Mountain (Mt.) Railroad" and the frill and livery. The thing about Prismacolor markers is that once you start coloring something with them you can't stop. If you do and the marker in dries it will leave an obvious mark" where you start again. I tried to do my best as quickly as pissible but the color on the tender came out REALLY dodgey. I really urks me to look at it.
Well the leson learned is that I shouldn't worry about the lettering or "frill" work. When I build the actuall model that can be done with decals. Also, this is the first of a few drawing/color works of this loco. They are "experiments" on what color scheme I will use for the "Twins". Yes, I've decided that I'm going to make 2 models of this loco. One in a Green Scheme and the other in a Yellow one. I'm also considering naming them after my best friend and his wife.
Anywho I hope Ya'll like, even though this was a flop. (for me anyway)
